With the help of its corporate, church and individual sponsors, GCA is building a future for hundreds of Haitian families, children and orphans
GCA continues to bring temporary relief to many in Haiti as they encounter the struggles of everyday life and obstacles through providing food, shelter and medical care. But GCA's long term vision is to build a main campus that will provide quality education, ongoing medical care, economic opportunities and community resources for those living in the surrounding area and for the orphans living at the Amadeus Orphange located on GCA's property.
There are hundreds of thousands of orphans in Haiti. A majority of which have no source of
food, shelter or comfort. It is not unusual to see numbers of orphans roaming the dirty streets
and dirt roads with literally no hope for a future. The people of Haiti are themselves dealing
with so many problems that they simply have little ability to pay attention to the orphans of
Haiti. That’s where GCA and its many partners come in.
In Mirebalais,GCA has been fortunate to acquire several acres of land, upon which GCA will build a vibrant
‘center’ for over 100 orphans to live and go to school. This central property will also serve the
local community by providing for a medical clinic, in addition to a church/community center,
where the people of this small community within Mirebalais can begin to rebuild their lives, and
come alongside and assist GCA in its efforts to raise a new, and hopeful generation of Haitians.
