Every generation has the challenge to provide solutions which will improve the quality of care for individuals in need, especially those in extreme need such as widows and orphans. Since 2000, Great Commission Alliance (GCA) has been active in Haiti, a country plagued by desperate poverty and deplorable human conditions.
The country of Haiti is without any governmental infrastructure to provide health or social programs. With conditions like this, you can only imagine what happens to the women who have been abused or abandoned by their husbands and the impoverished elderly.
The GCA Women in Distress Network seeks to provide monetary support to women of good reputation who are widowed or have experienced abuse or abandonment from their husbands. learn more
