GCA has had a unique opportunity to move into the city of Mirebalais, a city vacant of any outside support. This proved to be in good timing because shortly after our move the earthquake hit, sending over 200,000 refugees into the neighboring city of Mirebalais. We've been able to make a big impact on bringing relief to earthquake victims, however, there is still no relief for the orphans in Mirebalais
New Town, Mirebalais
GCA is in works with the mayor of Mirebalais and US volunteers to develop New Town, Mirebalais! This new site will offer shelter and sanitation to over 5,000 Haitians. Read more about New Town
Story of Hope: PauP Orphanage
One of the orphanages in the GCA network located in Port au Prince was destroyed in the earthquake, making it hard to find living arrangements and food for the orphans - but GCA sent a team down to bring hope to the orphans. Watch this video
