One of the orphanages in the GCA network was destroyed in the wake of earthquake and was forced to move all the orphans into a neighboring school. Along with the lose of their building, the orphanage was in need of basic food and supplies to provide for the orphans. Through food and money donations, GCA was able to bring down a team from Chicago in March 2010 to deliever these necessities and to begin an ongoing support of these displaced orphans.
New Town, Mirebalais
GCA is in works with the mayor of Mirebalais and US volunteers to develop New Town, Mirebalais! This new site will offer shelter and sanitation to over 5,000 Haitians. Read more about New Town
