Great Commission Alliance has arranged for all the travel and accomodations for teams that come from the US
Having this already established makes it easy for teams to schedule and engage in trips to Haiti. Below is an outlined detail of both the means of transportation and the accomodations for teams during their stay in Haiti with GCA.
Travel
Traveling to Haiti -
Teams from the US will fly into Ft. Lauderdale, FL, to meet with Team Escort Frank Maiorana. At the Ft. Lauderdale Airport, teams will fly on American Airlines to the Port-au-Prince Airport. Please read the bag policy
Arriving in Haiti -
Once the flight has landed in Port-au-Prince, teams will make their way through immigration/baggage claim and outside to meet with GCA driving staff. Luggage is loaded
into GCA's box truck and driven over to the Guesthouse while team members are escorted to the Guesthouse in GCA's 15-passanger vans.
While in Haiti -
Teams will be taken to project sites in GCA's 15-passanger vans. The vans are driven by Haitian drivers on staff with GCA and provide safe travel
each day of the team's trip to Haiti.
Accomodations
Guesthouse -
GCA houses teams from the US in the GCA Guesthouse on the Boyer Campus. The Guesthouse has six rooms, able to hold teams of up to 36 people. Each room is furnished with bunk beds
