Amadeus Orphanage - The stucco is complete (inside and out) and the utility poles are being constructed to bring power to the orphanage. We purchased the bunk beds (24), mattresses (48) and dressers (16) for the entire first floor (high quality stuff). All this will be sent to Haiti by the first of March. Things look promising for construction to be completed by the beginning of the summer. Please consider becoming an Amadeus Orphan Sponsor today. By sponsoring an Amadeus orphan now, you will help pay for staffing, training and administration necessary to adequately prepare for receiving in children during the summer 2012.

Boyer School Construction - We have finished digging the foundation and workers have begun constructing the footers and foundation pillars. While the new school is under construction GCA is providing education to 80 children in the community in a temporary structure at the Guesthouse property. Please consider becoming a School Child sponsor today. Your School Child sponsorship helps GCA to provide education to the 80 children currently at the Boyer School and also provides funding for the education of the orphans at Tou Tou and SeauD’eau Orphanages.

Community Service - GCA provided funding to give approximately 3000 residents living near the Guesthouse property electric power. Access to electrical power was out of the realm of possibility for these families before GCA arrived in the area just 2 ½ years ago. Thanks again to our many partners and Orlando Utilities for making this a reality.
Boyer Church/Community Center - Deliveries of materials for pouring the floor are anticipated this week.
